Women's Day

Women's Day

8 March isn't just a date on the calendar. It's the day we remember everything we go through, how strong we really are even when we feel weak, and just how much everything we do actually matters. As a woman and a mother, I know this day isn't only about flowers and well wishes, it's about recognition: for me, for you, for all of us who love, run ourselves ragged, juggle a hundred responsibilities, dream, and give everything we have, even when there's nothing left in the tank.

Motherhood is a sea of feelings. We move through so many different stages: from those first flutters of joy to the moments we wonder if we're getting it right at all. Guilt feels like a constant companion, wondering if we gave enough attention, if we were patient enough, if we made the right call. But you know what? Every single one of us is doing the best we possibly can. And that's more than enough.

So often we try to be everything to everyone: a loving mother, a good partner, a loyal friend, a reliable employee. We smile when we're actually exhausted, stay strong when we feel like crying inside, hold it together when we're on the verge of losing it. But the most valuable thing we can give our children is to be real. They don't need perfect mothers, they need us exactly as we are. Sometimes on edge, sometimes distracted, but always loving and ready with open arms.

A woman is the balance between tenderness and strength. We carry life within us, but we also carry a thousand responsibilities on our shoulders. Sometimes it feels like the world expects too much of us, but we carry on regardless. We carry on because we love, because we believe, because we know we're irreplaceable.

8 March is a day to receive flowers, sure, but also to allow ourselves to just be ourselves. To give ourselves some space. To stop for a moment and tell ourselves: "I'm managing. I'm good. I am enough." And to actually believe it.

Happy Women's Day, ladies! You are queens, and you deserve nothing but the best! Stay true to yourselves, and remember, you are a force of nature!
