How Do We Celebrate Palm Sunday with the Kids?

There's no need for elaborate preparations. Simply wanting to create something together is enough. Here are a few ideas that easily turn into memories that last a lifetime:

Have a mini picnic, even indoors, on the floor, or out in the garden. Lay out green leaves, drawn flowers, and bake a flatbread or biscuits together. It's not the result that matters, it's the laughter.

Weave a little wreath for the hair or the wrist, and explain where the custom comes from. You could even write down everyone's name at home and turn it into a small "game of luck", guessing who'll be the healthiest this year.

Colour in pictures of spring flowers together, and give each one a lovely name: "This is the flower of patience, this is the flower of joy..."
